1.Design of LED module

There are two kinds of LED modules, one is mainly potting and waterproofing, i.e. potting with epoxy resin glue, and the other is mainly injection moulding.

① Injection moulding is an encapsulation process to inject the melted high efficient hot melt adhesive into the mould with pressure and make it cured quickly, which can achieve the effects of insulation, moisture-proof and waterproof.
② Waterproof injection LED module is suitable for back-illuminated illuminated letters and light boxes with thickness of 8~15cm. The aluminium substrate is used as the carrier of LED beads (SMD2835) and constant current devices, and adopts special constant voltage power supply for LEDs, and the circuit adopts the constant current loop design, so as to make the brightness of the whole string of LED beads consistent.
③ Waterproof injection moulding LED module adopts secondary diffusion optical design, its luminous angle of view is up to 165°, no light spot, good light uniformity, and it is moisture-proof, water-proof, dust-proof, impact-resistant, and its protection level is up to IP65.
④ The injection moulding LED module adopts DC 12V constant voltage to supply power, and the single LED injection mould can be cut and cascaded up to 30pcs.
⑤ The injection moulding LED module adopts lens isolation measures, which ensures a larger light-emitting angle and isolates from the outside world at the same time.
(6) The positive and negative poles of the injection moulding LED module correspond to the positive and negative poles of the power supply, i.e. the positive pole of the module is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and the negative pole of the module is connected to the negative pole of the power supply.
(vii) The injection moulding LED module should be firmly and reliably affixed to the LED light-emitting character, and can be fixed with screws if necessary.
2.Parameters of LED module
(1) Working voltage. Since the LED modules on the market are all low-voltage modules, their working voltage is DC 12V or DC 24V.

① If you want to control the dimming of LED modules, then you must pay attention to whether the nominal output voltage of the switching power supply and the nominal working voltage of the controller are the same as the voltage of LED modules. The output voltage of the switching power supply must be measured with a digital multimeter to see if it is the same as the working voltage of the LED module before installing the LED module, and the LED module must be checked carefully according to the construction drawings before switching on the power to avoid damaging the LED module.
② The nominal output power of the controller should be taken into consideration while dimming control of LED modules. If the output power is insufficient, a repeater or amplifier should be used to amplify the power of LED modules.
③ Constant-voltage thyristor dimming drive power supply (switching power supply) can carry out dimming control of LED modules with output short-circuit protection, output overload protection, output overheat protection and other functions.
(2) Working current. Generally speaking, the working current refers to the working current of single LED module, which is also the design current. The current parameter can be consulted with reference to the specification of LED module, or can be measured with digital multimeter.
Luminous flux. Luminous flux is the luminous efficiency when single LED module emits light, which can be 3) measured by integrating sphere.
(4) Rated power. Rated power is the product of working voltage and working current of single LED module.
