LED structure and packaging

LED: Light emitting diode, is a piece of electroluminescent semiconductor material. Its internal structure is a PN junction with unidirectional conductivity.

Structure of LED

LED is mainly composed of the following parts:

Chip (role: light source emitting)

Stands: including substrate and heat sink base, pins, etc. (Role: heat dissipation, conductive)

Gold wire (role: conductive)

Transparent resin (role: to protect the grain, light transmission)

High-power integrated packaging chip

Existing LED packaging technology has developed from a single crystal chip LED light source polycrystalline package products (other words called integrated chip). Multi-crystalline packaged LED light source per lumen output of up to 2000Lm.
